Higginbotham & Associates names executive vice president
Carl E. Moody has joined Higginbotham & Associates, one of the nation's 100 largest independent insurance agencies, as executive vice president in its Fort Worth headquarters. He brings 32 years experience in commercial insurance brokerage and risk management consulting to the agency's Property & Casualty Division.
“Carl is a distinguished member of the North Texas insurance marketplace with many successes in custom coverage design and loss control,” said Higginbotham CEO Rusty Reid. “The quality of his work reinforces Higginbotham's reputation for service excellence.”
Moody began his insurance career in Houston with Liberty Mutual, where he became a nationally ranked property and casualty sales representative within four years and managed an office with 108 employees. In 1981 he joined the National Accounts Division of Employers Insurance of Texas in Dallas to produce and service large accounts in Texas, New York, Connecticut and Louisiana. He returned to Fort Worth in 1989 as an account executive and sales producer for Alexander & Alexander. Then in 1997 he became a senior vice president at Wm. Rigg Co., now HUB International, where he served a number of large notable accounts.
